[pptp-server] Local works but ..

well it would seem i have come to some what of an impasse

i can connect with my local clients ( on my own lan ).

But when i try to get a remote client to connect it does not work !

I checked  under " /var/log " messages and debug and it would seem that

it does connect but it does not make a tunneled link to the server ( i
have pretty much ruled out

the chap file because i use a invalid user name and password and windows
comes

up with the same error  ( 650 ).

if any one can shed some light one this i would be very great full !
