[pptp-server] pppd/pptp problems under RH5.2

Hello all,

Whenever i try and run pptpd the pppd gives the following errors.  It
appears it cannot find the modules for ppp-compress.  I compiled support for
ppp directly into the kernel( so i can't see why there should be any
requirement for modules at all).  Kernel 2.2.10, the newest ppp rpm i could
find for 5.2 i.e. ppp-2.3.5-1.i386.rpm.  The  ppp-2.3.7-2.i386.rpm for RH6.0
will not install as it requires new GLIBC_2.1.  Thanx for any help in
advance.
