Hello, 


I suppose you read the doc about imitations.

I trying to set up a system with 2000 sessions per server.
( I prefer linux to 3COM )
The problem I see now is that each pptp sesssion takes about 400k of RAM
   and you have to add 600k for each ppp session thus If you want to
   have over 1k open sessions you will need over 1Gbyte of RAM.
I trying to reduce the size of the pppd process and (If I'm able) to
   integrate pptp in pppd. Thus using only one process/session.
