[pptp-server] pptpd processes not killed after disconnect

Hello:
I'm getting pptpd processes that are remaining active after closing the
connection from my pptp linux clients. Has anyone encountered this?
See process 557 below which has been going since yesterday. (The only
way to kill it was with:  kill -HUP 557)
1939 and 2055 are today's connections (one is from the same machine as
process 557).
Has anyone encountered this?
