[pptp-server] More problems with sudden death of connections

OK, I ran another torture test last night; this time with two shares
mounted.  The test consisted of copying two 100K files back and forth. 
The connection gave up the ghost after only 1MB of data transfer.

pptp and ppp were both up this morning; the connection was good; but the
pptp connection was non-responsive.  Disconnecting and reconnecting
brought it back to life.  This is progress.

Anything else I can provide to track this down?
