Hello,
Has anyone tried or setup use of a MsExchange server through a linux
IP-Masqing computer using a PPTP tunnel?

Here is my setup: Intenet user (using MS-Outlook) ---> internet
---> into our company internet connection OC3 ---> to our firewall Linux Box
(MASQ (interal / external IPs) to an internal MsExchange NT Server.

I have built up the MASQ and PPTP, but can not make the MS-Outlook
see the exchange server. I am assuming the MS-Exchange uses IMAP4 protocol,
and is carried over the TCP/IP connection, I was assuming I could use
Port-Forwarding, (but I do not know what portt Ms-Exchange uses). My MASQ is
working fine, the IPCHAINS firewall is working fine, I have not yet
implemented the 'strong rule set, as of yet'. Currently the system is NOT
connected to the internet, I am using my own -seperate- network with two
distinct IP sets to test this function.

My test system: external IP MS-outlook Win 95 --> linux MASQ box
---> windows NT MS-Exchange server. Using just private IP addresses, I am
able to ftp back and forth, telenet back and forth, etc.. but can not get
MS-outlook to see the Ms-exchange server. Does anyone have any ideas how I
could setup (*even with additional software, mail routers etc..) to permit
external IP addresses to come into through my MASQ-linux firewall to get to
MS-Exchange mail?

	Thank you for your time..

p.s. I have successfully implemented the PPTP tunnel and all is working
fine, I just want to carry the MS-outlook on it. With and without the PPTP
tunnel 'Ms-outlook' is unable to see the ms-exchange server.
