[pptp-server] Why ports 2 and 3

I was doing some VPN testing on a machine and started logging all 
the packets going to and from a workstation that was trying to 
connect to my pptp server.

I started seeing protocol 6 (tcp) packets coming from port 3 and 
going to port 2.  Why would a windows machine use port 3?  The 
services file doesn't have any recorded info about what you might 
use port 2 or 3 for.

Anyone have any ideas?
