[pptp-server] Getting wierd error and it looks like it's trying to use an NT domain?

I tried the patch below applied to Adi <adi at certsite.com>'s ppp-2.3.10
rpm's and ot doesn't seem to work.  I'm still required to put the DOMAIN\\
in the username.
