[pptp-server] Win 98 Connection error...

Hi all,

Quick question, I have Windows 98
 connecting to VPN I get an error: -

The Microsoft Dial-Up Adapter is in use or not responding properly.
Disconnect other connections and then try again.
If this problem persists, shut down and restart your computer.

In my log on the PPTP Server, I am seeing:

connection finished
Oct 25 12:29:49 internet pppd[32177]: Modem hangup
Oct 25 12:29:49 internet pppd[32177]: Connection terminated.
Oct 25 12:29:49 internet pppd[32177]: Exit.

Can anyone help? I have connected many times before, but never seen this
error
