[pptp-server] PPtP

Dear all,
     I have a question about PoPToP. What is PoPToP stand for? And I wonder
about the picture http://www.moretonbay.com/vpn/pptpd.gif.
I have some questions.
     1. The green line from pptp client to the intranet, the pptp client 
uses remoteip which is assigned by the pptpd server for ppp, right?
     2. If there are mutiple connections, pptpd server creates mutiple green 
lines for each connection, right?

It's very helpful if you can describe about that picture.
