[pptp-server] Re: MPPE compression

tcpdump -a -i eth0 -w /tmp/eth0

Ping across eth0.

more /tmp/eth0

ICMP request/replies have sequences such as abcdefghij.... in them.  
Obviously, if the link is encrypted, you won't read this.
