Are you sure?

If you can't avaoid pppoa, then I'd suggest that you investigate using
IPSEC. The PPTP protocol isn't robust in the face of missing or out of
order packets. The version of poptop you are using does its best to
reorder out-of-order packets before the get to the MPPE decrypter, but it
can only do so much.
