[pptp-server] multiple win98 clients using the same gateway

I'm trying to connect multiple win98se clients which are using the same 
router as the gateway to the internet to my pptp server. I'm getting all 
sorts of problems, clients disconecting etc... . I read somewhere that 
this isn't possible. Can anybody tell me if this is possible or which is 
the right method to solve my problem?
