[pptp-server] pptp dies, pid remains...

Thanks, Rex...

That is specified in the last line of my /etc/pptpd.conf  When I try to
connect from my LAN, I get a "Serial line is looped back" message just
before I get disconnected.

Any more ideas what-all is keeping me from getting this working?
