[pptp-server] LCP timeout- I AM NOT BEHIND ANY FIREWALL

hi people,
      this is such a big problem. I have been with this problems since
last week, and I decided to post this problem to the list. When I tried
to connect,    my winblows gave me "error 645 Dial-Up Networking could
not complete the connection to the server.
Check your configuration and try the connection again.". ANY EXPERT??

This is  my configuration:

PPTP client:
win98 se using dialup of course

PPTP server
using two NIC
eth0  is with internet IP address: 202.18*.XXX.XXX
eth1 is 10.1.8.77
and the pptpd is starting as /sbin/pptpd -d
