	HEllo,

Me again - think got some clues: when I run the pptp link over the
cable connection(eth1) which is my primary link to the world, the other
end just does not reply - or more probably I do send nothing there; when I
put the default route trough a modem line(ppp0) I get answer from remote
end. Apparently some new feature in the 2.4 kernels, have to
investigate. There is a bunch of new modules - ppp_sync, pppoe, etc, the
solution should be around.

	George

	Hello,

I have to put some more stuff in my gateway's kernel, so I got the
lates one - 2.4.6, and I had as a first step to make my old pptp link
working, new things after. However, there is no response from the other
end - and I know for sure the problem is local, other end is just fine.

I used this link for about an year with kernel 2.2.13, it worked
just fine. Did I forgot some option for the new kernel I made this
morning? I did also compiled the pppd-2.4.1b2 with some patch for mppe.

ifconfig shows the number of packets increase when pptp tries to
connect, so I thik I send something there. Some ideas what I miss?

	Thanks, George.
