[pptp-server] Re: Unknown PPP_MAGIC in header files

That's why I always use the proper TGZ files and not the RedHat sources as
they love to tweak and move things around.

Downloading the original source is the best way as most patches were made
for them.

Is this a Redhat specific patch?

I am using Debian 2.2 with kernel 2.2.17 (from kernel.org) ppp 2.3.11 and
pptpd 1.1.2 and after following the directions at
http://vibrationresearch.com/pptpd/example.html (thanks to someone on this
list for suggesting it), got similar errors to the ones Brian posted
earlier. The patches I applied were ppp-2.3.11-openssl-norc4-mppe.patch,
ppp_mppe_compressed_data_fix.diff and ip_ppp_2.2.17.diff.

ppp.c:198: structure has no member named 'state'
... and so forth

Any suggestions?
Helen
