[pptp-server] pptp through firewall

Not entirely an option... the remote end's a Win2000 machine, thus
increasing the size of my headache by about a million. What would be useful
from there? I don't see anything I can provide aside from the routing
table.

Best I can tell from your post - your problem is probably related to either
routing and/or the proxyarp function is not working when you establish your
connection. Could also be ipchain/iptable related. Please include the
following:
1) Cut/Paste of /var/log/messages for pptp connection from remote.
2) Cut/Paste of "ifconfig ppp0" after connection is brought up.
3) Cut/Paste of "netstat -rn"
