We would be more interested on what errors are on your linux box.. can you
provide logs and all configuration files?

I have just subscribed to the list so please forgive me if I am asking a
question that has been answered many times before.
 
I have installed pptpd on a Mandrake 7.2 with ppp 2.4.0. PPTPD is running
and showing port 1723 is open. The firewall has been amended to accept
requests on this port. Nevertheless, when a connect is attempted I receive
the error: The computer you dialed did not answer.
 
Any assistance is appreciated.
