I'm pretty sure that you want to replace "VPN SERVER" and "VPN CLIENT" with 
nice 100% standard IPSec endpoints.  My understanding is that PPTP is meant 
for single computer access, and IPSec to connect two networks in an encrypted 
manner.

Of course there are implementations for each that do the other's job, but my 
reccolection suggests that this is how it was originally intended to be.  :-)
