[pptp-server] OT kernel hangs

hi list,

I know it's not appropriate to ask questions about kernel here, but I
can't find the newsgroup for kernel.

We have two Linux machines: RH 7.1 (2.4.2-2) and 7.2 (2.4.7-10).
However, they would sometimes go blank, allowing no login, even at the
terminal, and offering no services to their client machines. The only
way to get them out of that is reboot. There is no trace at all in the
log file.

Has anyone encountered this problem..??
