Error 720: Dial-Up Networking could not negotiate a compatible set of etwork
protocols you specified in the Server Type settings.
 ... and no logs, stupid Windows can't configure logs (if you try to enable
vpn logging, windows crashes, yay)

I suspect the line "GRE: Bad checksum from pppd" is the problem, but don't
know where to go from there.
(I made sure that # CONFIG_NET_IPGRE is not set in the kernel, since that
support is for Cisco routers only.)

We see that the peer terminates the connection, but wonderless windows
doesn't log anything (what else is new).

The client is Win98SE, so DUN should be up-to-date, no?
I see that someone on the list had a similar problem last June, but no
reply/solution posted.

I'll be waiting with bated breath for any ideas you might have.
