is just used to specify the server name used in the chap
file. If you dont want it I have been able to delete that
entry and just use * in the severname field on the chap file.

In the Win2k dial up you have use server assigned IP address right? Im not
too familiar with Win2k. I have only
played with a VPN and 98 myself.
