[pptp-server] Configuring outgoing pptp connections

I am trying to setup a firewall system so that it will automatically
establish a pptp connection to multiple other locations either on demand or
when the system is booted (and just leave them up).  Does a HOW-TO for this
exist?  If not can someone who has done this give me a few pointers to get
me started?
