[pptp-server] Compiling mppe on RedHat 6.2 (kernel 2.2.14)

That is the same problem that I came accross. I ended up
using a stock 2.2.14 kernel, and that fixed the errors.

So it must have something to do with a patch that RH applies
to the kernel.

I wonder if it would work on a 2.2.15pre kernel???

Subject: [pptp-server] Compiling mppe on RedHat 6.2 (kernel 2.2.14)

I'm trying to compile the new mppe ppp module on RedHat 6.2 (kernel 2.2.14)
and get the following errors:

ppp.c:188: warning: static declaration for
`ppp_register_compressor_R9682e733' follows non-static
ppp.c:189: warning: static declaration for
`ppp_unregister_compressor_Ra1b928df' follows non-static
ppp.c: In function `rcv_proto_unknown': ppp.c:2563: too few arguments to
function `kill_fasync_R5e73d35d'
make[1]: *** [ppp.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux-2.2.14/drivers/net'
make: *** [_mod_drivers/net] Error 2

I've patched/configure/make/make install/make kernel for ppp-2.3.11 with the
patch from ftp.binarix.com.

Any ideas? I had everything running fine on a RedHat 6.0 box.
