Ah, there's the rub...

If you remove all networking items in the client and add them all back in
AFTER a restart... you can make the remote machine a "member" of the same
domain as the host machine.

Do this, and then re-install or setup VPN. The NEW VPN connections will now
correctly sync with the remote browse master...
