[pptp-server] Authentication with Windows Clients to Linux Server

Do I have to patch the pppd sources to use CHAP with Windows clients?
I have the pptp server working without authentication but have disabled
it because when I try to use CHAP I get an error that the authentication
has failed.  I am thinking that I need to patch for MSCHAP to make
it work.  Am I correct?
