[pptp-server] Failed Hunk while patching

Hello

While following the RedHat-PoPToP HOWTO dated 20001005 everything was going
great until I tried the following command:

patch < ../../ppp_mppe_compressed_data_fix.diff

I received the following error:

patching file 'ppp_mppe.c'
Hunk #1 FAILED at 509.
1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- savging rejects to ppp_mppe.c.rej

The ppp_mppe.c.rej file has the folloing in it:

I am currently using:

ppp-2.3.11-4
RedHat Linux 6.2 kernel version 2.2.14-5.0 upgraded to kernel 2.2.16-3

What did I do wrong or what should I do to rectify this??
