[pptp-server] problems with linksys etherfast cable/dsl router

I'm trying to get a pc connected to a linksys to talk to my pptp server.
If I connect directly to the cable modem all works well, add in the
linksys and no go.

linksys is running firmware 1.35.

I would appreciate any help you can give.
