Hi Micah !
I'm running poptop on a RedHat 6.1 machine. The line with the
speed-option is commented out. While using poptop in my LAN, windows
shows me a speed of 10.000.000. Im using 10M cards.
I remember a text in a config file, that there are some problems with
some ppp-daemons. Maybe it could help to download a new
pppd-sourcecode, compile an install it.
I hope I was able to help you.
Best regards
Kai
