[pptp-server] error 678

hi people,
       i have setup my linux box for pptp server. I am using kernel
linux 2.2.17, ppp-2.3.11 and pptp-1.1.2. From my windows client, this is
what I got:

error 678

"The remote computer did not respond within a reasonable amount of
time."

can somebody figure it out what is this suppose to mean?
