[pptp-server] Password?

Greetings,

I am able to connect from a win98 client to a linux pptp server. Trouble is, it reports that it cannot find a password to validate the user. My chap-secrets file looks like this:

username    servername    password


This is all I need right? I am not, at this point, using any encryption.

Any thoughts?
