[pptp-server] Problems connecting pptp linux client to pptpd linux server

go to http://mirror.binarix.com/ppp-mppe/ get linux-2.4.16-openssl-0.9.6b-mppe.patch.gz and patch your kernel with this.  it worked for me.  i  downloaded kernel source from kernel.org, and i am running mandrake 8.1 and i only have had to apply two patches one for mppe, and the other for ipvs, and everything is working great for me. if this doesn't get everything working for you let me know, and i'll tell you what else i did(in case you didn't do it already).
