I'm pretty sure that header compression has been turned off on the
clients.

Also  a question about encryption. The clients have encrypted passwords
turned on and auth just fine. When we turn data encrypt on, I get a
message saying that the server does not support encryption. I installed
the ppp-2.3.10-openssl-norc4-mppe.patch  patch and SSLeay-0.6.6b as per
the how-o and it all compiled just fine. Am I missing something???
