[pptp-server] Unresolved symbols ppp_mppe.o

I am a newbie to Linux. I have been following the
PoPTop-RedHat-Howoto from moretonbay. I am having
a problem with the unresolved symbol below.  It
seems that I would need to re-compile or have
additional libraries.  Any help would be
appreciated.  thanks, jan

Red Hat 6.2
ppp-2.3.11
