That's assuming you use samba as the WINS server. In my case I use the
internal WINS server (at the far end of the VPN) as we don't even have samba
on the PoPToP box, and as that WINS server is also the browse master for the
remote network and a PDC (with trust relationships with the other domains),
browsing works well.
As it is supposed to when using a remote WINS server :-)
But it does cause some interesting side effects when someone (usually me !)
connects from a home NT network with a new domain/workgroup that the WINS
server doesn't know about (this usually takes a couple of days to flush
out.......)
